LeakDtech’s Commitment To
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

LeakDtech is a committed participant in the UN Global Compact. Our partnership supports global sustainability goals and guides our work in water conservation, innovation and community impact. Our agreement outlines what we deliver from 2025 to 2027, based on the Communication of Progress report.

We have agreed to support three UN Sustainable Development Goals:
• SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation
• SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
• SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

Our work focuses on reducing water waste, improving building efficiency and raising awareness across the region. These commitments shape our projects, technology development and public outreach.

What We Have Agreed To Deliver

Below is the exact set of commitments verified in the UN sustainability report.

1. Develop and Scale Smart Water Monitoring Technology
LeakDtech agreed to advance HomeDtech and introduce new leak detection systems with real time alerts.
This includes:
• Testing HomeDtech v2 and preparing for full release
• Adding remote telemetry alerts through IoT devices
• Deploying stand alone leak sensors linked to the app
• Introducing predictive analytics to detect abnormal usage

These systems help customers reduce waste and improve property efficiency.

2. Create New Remote Leak Detection Hardware
Our agreement includes designing and testing a new remote leak detection system separate from the existing app.
• Field testing takes place over the next 24 months
• Devices will support both residential and commercial customers

3. Pioneer Structural Health Monitoring
LeakDtech agreed to introduce resonance-based technology for early detection of stress, weakness and breakage in buildings and pipelines.
This includes:
• Pilot programmes on ten buildings or pipelines
• Mapping stress and fault data into digital dashboards
• Reporting for facility managers and authorities

This helps prevent failures and extends the life of critical infrastructure.

4. Launch a Free Sustainability Training Platform
As part of our UN partnership, we committed to expanding public education.
Our goals include:
• Launching a free membership training platform on ecoday.ae
• Providing education on water, power and energy conservation
• Working with accredited training providers and regional schools
• Aligning the curriculum with the UN SDGs

This platform builds awareness and supports community-wide behaviour change.

5. Strengthen Regional and Industry Partnerships
LeakDtech agreed to expand its sustainability partnerships across:
• Saudi Arabia
• Qatar
• Kuwait
• Oil and gas sector partners

These partnerships help scale conservation technology across the region.

6. Support Public Outreach and Awareness Campaigns
Our teams continue to share knowledge with customers through:
• Educational flyers and QR linked resources
• Community events
• School partnerships
• NGO and technology partner collaborations

This supports the UN’s aim to build sustainable communities and informed citizens.

7. Commit to Innovation and Continuous Improvement
LeakDtech agreed to:
• Test new technologies
• Improve diagnostics
• Enhance engineer workflows
• Increase response times
• Expand customer education

These improvements help reduce water waste and raise service quality.

How Our Partnership Supports the UN Global Goals
Everything we do aligns with the sustainability goals we committed to:
\

SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation

Leak detection, monitoring systems and public education help reduce waste.
\

SDG 9: Innovation and Infrastructure

Advanced diagnostics, telemetry and smart monitoring support more resilient infrastructure.
\

SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

Our services improve building health, reduce resource consumption and support safer communities.
SDG 6 —
Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
Worker using tools to tighten pipe valves

Water scarcity and infrastructure leakage result in significant global water loss. Efficient monitoring and early leak detection are essential to preserving clean water resources.

LeakDtech contributes by:

  • Detecting hidden water leaks early
  • Reducing water wastage in buildings
  • Supporting efficient water system management
  • Preventing contamination risks

SDG 9 —
Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation

Worker using tools to tighten pipe valves

Modern infrastructure requires intelligent monitoring systems to remain reliable, efficient, and sustainable.

LeakDtech contributes by:

  • Advanced diagnostic technologies
  • Smart monitoring and analytics systems
  • Preventive infrastructure maintenance
  • Innovation-driven inspection methods

SDG 11 —
Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable

Worker using tools to tighten pipe valves

Growing cities depend on resilient buildings and efficient resource management to remain safe and sustainable.

LeakDtech contributes by:

  • Protecting residential and commercial properties
  • Reducing urban water loss
  • Supporting sustainable facility management
  • Preventing structural damage from leaks

Supporting a More Sustainable Future

LeakDtech is an active member of the UN Global Compact.

We agreed to support water conservation, innovation and community education through smart technology, public training and regional partnerships.

Our 2025 to 2027 roadmap delivers new leak detection systems, a free sustainability training platform and improved structural health monitoring to help protect homes, buildings and natural resources.
