Technician – Senior Plumber


Job Purpose

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in villas and apartments, with a strong focus on leak detection and remediation.

This senior-level role requires leading and mentoring a team, diagnosing complex plumbing issues, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

The role also involves direct interaction with clients and responding to service requests in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan residential plumbing, water supply, and drainage systems.
• Install and maintain water supply systems, drainage lines, and plumbing fixtures.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings including PVC, HDPE, MS flanges, junctions, and valves (½” to 36”).
• Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems.
• Locate, diagnose, and repair visible and hidden leaks and clogged drains using advanced tools and techniques.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.
• Respond to client queries, scheduled appointments, and emergency call-outs as required.
• Provide basic advice to clients on reducing water consumption and improving system efficiency.
• Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets safety and performance standards.
• Accurately document completed work, materials used, and observations.
• Assist in preparing job estimates and project budgets when required.
• Maintain a clean, respectful, and professional presence in clients’ homes.
• Lead and mentor junior plumbers and technicians.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably residential.
• Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex plumbing faults.
• Strong proficiency in reading plumbing blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and plumbing regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional, friendly, and patient when dealing with clients.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined or awkward spaces.
• Trade certificate, diploma, or completed plumbing apprenticeship.
• Valid UAE professional license (if required).
• UAE driving license (preferred).
