Technician – Senior AC Mechanic / Multi Technician


Job Purpose

Responsible for leading a team in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.

This role involves diagnosing complex technical faults, ensuring optimal system performance and safety, and providing advanced technical expertise across multiple trades.

The position serves as the primary point of contact for complex service requests, delivering professional client support while mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and mentor junior technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Act as the on-site expert for advanced troubleshooting and complex repairs.
• Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair works to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Perform advanced diagnostics to identify and resolve HVAC system faults.
• Inspect and test HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for safety and compliance.
• Accurately document all work performed, materials used, and system observations.
• Conduct site surveys and interpret blueprints for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Respond to client queries and emergency call-outs, providing expert technical advice.
• Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC components including ductwork, compressors, motors, vents, and thermostats.
• Carry out routine maintenance and quality checks to ensure system efficiency.

Multi-Technician Responsibilities

• Apply multi-trade knowledge including basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Identify and assist with non-HVAC repairs when required to provide comprehensive service.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of proven hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Expert knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Strong multi-trade expertise including basic electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with team leadership skills.
• Friendly, professional, and patient when dealing with clients and junior staff.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined or awkward spaces.
• Trade certificate, diploma, or completed apprenticeship in a relevant field.
• Valid UAE professional license.
• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
